Sports & Recreation
The City of Tonganoxie has invested heavily in recreational quality of life amenities for its
residents. Chieftain Park is home to a wonderful playground, well-kempt soccer fields, and areas
for volleyball, tennis, basketball, and horseshoes. Two block away is the brand new, always-
packed Tonganoxie Water Park with a new bathhouse, two large water slides, sprayground,
zero depth entry and a large water area for recreational and fitness activities.

The City of Tonganoxie is also expanding their trails and sidewalks system to allow for recreation
and safe pedestrian travel to different destinations in the community.
