Economic Development Committee
The Economic Development Committee focuses on working with businesses and projects to overcome barriers to location and growth. The Committee also provides support for existing business attraction and retention services provided to the community by the City of Tonganoxie and Leavenworth Co. Dev. Corp.

Membership
The Membership Committee works to recruit and retain membership and share the value of Chamber membership.

Finance
The Finance Committee works to ensure adequate funding and strong financial health for the Chamber.

Education/Networking
The Education/Networking Committee facilitates monthly membership meetings, professional development and training opportunities, and business-to-business network opportunities.

Community Outreach
The Community Outreach Committee seeks to partner with the community in ongoing promotion of quality of life in Tonganoxie.

Executive
The Executive Committee is responsible for working with the Board of Directors to establish Chamber priorities, order of work for committees, and strategic direction.

Primary Goals of the Chamber

  1. Be a center for communication, information and networking.
  2. Work with the City of Tonganoxie to fulfill the vision of the 2020 Retail & Commercial Development Plan.
  3. Support current businesses with information, educational resources and referrals.
  4. Attract new businesses and prospects to Tonganoxie.
  5. Promote and sustain economic and community growth.
